Will of Margaret Campbell
I, Margaret Campbell, widow of the late Malcolm Campbell of North lake, Lot 47, being of sound mind and memory, do make my last will and testament. First, I bequeath to my dear and beloved nephew Aneas George Campbell of my land estate of (60) sixty acres of land a little more or less. Bounded as follows on the West by land owned by Dougald Campbell on the North by the North Lake, on the East by land owned by John Campbell, on the South by land owned by Donald McDonald. And also the said Aneas George Campbell is to give his sisters their living on said property whilst unmarried and not to be sold out of the family. I also bequeath to my dear and beloved daughter Martina Campbell (2) two mares and (2) two cows, which are named to her, also her living while unmarried. I also bequeath to my dear and beloved daughter Mary ($1) one dollar of lawful money of this Island. I also bequeath to my dear and beloved son Donald Campbell if living ($1) one dollar of lawful money of this Island. I also to my dear and beloved son John Campbell all the balance of my moveable property and I also appoint my son John Campbell my sole Executor.

The foregoing will having been presented for probate of in said Island one of the subscribing witnesses thereto made oath that he was present and did see the Testatrix Margaret Campbell sign her name (by putting her mark) thereto and heard her publish and declare the same, as and for her last Will and Testament, that when Testratrix so did she was of sound disposing mind and memory according to this deponish?? best discerning; that he subscribed his name as a witness thereto in the presence of Testatrix and that subscribed his name as a witness thereto at the same time.
