Will of John Campbell

A Will or Testament. In the Name of God, Amen. I John Campbell of Kings County, East Parish, farmer, being of sound mind and memory, do make this my last Will and Testament in form and manner following. First I give and bequeath to Hugh Campbell my well beloved son one hundred acres of land more or less, it being the easternmost hundred of my estate. Also I give to my grandson John Campbell one third of the westernmost hundred the part below the postlie? road and half of the part above the road, it being the easternmost part of the westernmost hundred. Also I give and bequeath to my well beloved daughter in law Margaret Campbell two thirds of the westernmost hundred below the road, and the one half of the part above the road, it being the westernmost part of the Westernmost hundred, also one mare and two cows. Also I give and bequeath to my well beloved daughter Mary Campbell, one young mare and two cows to be given out of my chattels. And I do constitute and appoint John Campbell, Peter McDonald and Dougald Campbell sole executors of this my Will and Testament, hereby revoking and annulling all and every other Will and Wills at any time heretofore by me made, and declare this to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal, this the first day of May in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and forty five.
